I had to Google who he was, I had never heard of him! But I agree that these ads are preferable to the Brad Pitt ones; this looks more suave, like a '60s movie star.

He is bloody gorgeous! Luckily my husband likes the Mentalist too so I don't have to feel bad watching him. As long as he first notice the drool....

Kudos to Givenchy for choosing such a handsome, personable, and utterly charming man to be the face of their men's fragrance.

I really don't understand why Chanel used Brad Pitt to hawk the iconic No 5. When I wear No 5, I don't want to remind myself or anyone else of a haggard, unkempt guy with "butt beard"! LOL. The commercial itself is pretentious and absurd, but as the old saying goes, he's laughing all the way to the bank. Hopefully, Brad will use a chunk of that reported 7 million to do more of his humanitarian work.

I don't think this is the best photo of Simon Baker (I think he looks like he's squinting at the sun), but I do agree that he looks much more debonair and suave than Brad does in the Chanel ad.

Don't get me wrong, Brad's purty, and he could very well sell Chanel. But the styling was so wrong. So very very wrong.

Sorry Brad, but you look like a hobo. Simon on the other hand, not that's a face for a premium brand. Take notice Chanel. Givenchy have got it right with this fella.
