I've been using Max Factor for a long time and currently use Second Skin too. However, they always have something I love, so I don't doubt Fit Me or another of their foundations will be just as good.
You'll like it! The shade range is fabulous, the formulation is lightweight but buildable, fairly long-lasting and comfortable! I am older, too, with dry mature skin, so my face gave this foundation a run for it's claims and I was impressed!
