Ok, even though I am not a fan of this kind of stuff (after all, dogs are overbred and often groomed to embarassment), it does sound funny ...a dog with colourful nails :-D
BTW, I like it that you keep your poodles natural :-)
We keep our poodles fur at one natural length as well and no one ever believes me that they are poodles. Is it hard to groom them yourself? I'm getting tired of shelling out for the mobile groomer to come take care of them both every 5 weeks. I doubt I could get them to hold still long enough to paint their nails but I think it would be fun for holidays or for big football games!
Hi Leah.. it isn't hard as long as you accept they won't look perfect. I just use grooming scissors and press hand to body with two fingers open and cut what appears above the fingers off. It;s usually tidy, and I find putting them on a towel on a raised table stops them trying to get away. (obviously don't leave them for a second while on the table(.

Thanks for the tips. I think I'm going to have to try it sometime in between their cuts and see how it goes.
