I've used both of Hersheson's side-swept Rocker winge and Blunt winge (from ASOS) and although the colour was a perfect match, the cut and quality of the hair pieces was appalling. The side-swept one hung down like a cowlick and was too narrow for anything but a child's forehead and the blunt one had lots of short, choppy bits that looked like a home-cut gone wrong!

I think red ones like the one you pictured belong in Cosplay only!

these winges are amazing - they are the best fake fringes i have ever seen - most fake fringes come so heavy with way too much hair but the amount of hair on these ones seems to totally blend - looking ultra real unlike some i have worn that just look like a lump on your forehead - hershesons rock !!! i cant wait till their electrical stuff launches - i used to have the original irons ten years ago and they changed my life

"Hi - just wanted to say thank you to whomever invented the hair piece called winge. I saw it advertised on qvc a while ago and I immediately ordered one as I knew it would be perfect for my forthcoming holiday.I have naturally curly shoulder length hair and have been fortunate to have had a few holidays in Barbados and I know from experience that the humidity there turns my curly hair into a mass of frizz no matter what products I use and I have had to resort to wearing a headband on an evening as I hate the look of my hair - not so with the winge!
After a day on the beach, I returned to my room - washed and then scrunched dried my hair and tied it up using a basic banana clip. I scraped my curly hair back from my forehead - reopened the banana clip and tucked the loose curls behind. I then attached the winge to the bit of hair available on the top of my forehead and then wore a beautiful jeweled headband over the top of the winge to keep it in place.
The total affect looked stunning. A mixture of curly hair and a lovely smooth fringe that did not frizz. Bliss!
None of my holiday companions knew that I was wearing a hair accessory because the cut of it is so natural. I made friends with a hairdresser and even she didn't guess. My husband kept wanting to give away my secret but he was proud of my glamorous look.
When I returned from holiday - the sun had lightened my own hair somewhat so I took my trusted winge to the hairdressers and they coloured my hair the same colour as the winge. Now, instead of me spending ages getting ready for work in the mornings - (having naturally curly hair - I have to wash it every day), and then having to use a hot brush to smooth my curls - I just scrunch my hair - tie it back with a clip, attach the winge and go!
I wore it at work yesterday - no one guessed it was a hair piece and I got so many compliments it was becoming embarrassing!
Anyway, just a tip for when the winge is next advertised on qvc - please mention the fact that taking a winge on holiday really saves time, helps with the dreaded frizz and adds instant glamour.
I'll be ordering another one soon!
Footnote:- I didn't manage to bring the beautiful sunshine back from Barbados as yesterday the weather was wet and drizzerly but I still managed to use my trusted winge. A friend phoned in need of some retail therapy and companionship at short notice - no time to wash my hair - that would have only gone frizzy in the rain anyway - so I once again pushed my hair off my forhead and put a headband on and then I got my winge, placed the top of it securely under the headband - found a beautiful hat - tucked the rest of my unwashed hair under the hat so it just showed the immaculate looking winge which I placed lower than usual so the fringe was down to my eyes - very nonchalant and casual for shopping but chic at the same time. Once again, so many compliments and my friend was impressed that I'd manage to blow dry my hair in such a short space of time. If only she knew what was beneath the hat! OK - I've since told her - she's so impressed - she's going to order two. One to keep at home and one for the office for when she socialises after work. She said all she'll need is her false eyelashes, change of top and her winge for instant day to evening transformation!"
