I thought I was the only person in the Universe who didn't like it either! I just didn't like the texture - weird and watery - and find it "flat" and very basic, nothing like the promised Holy Grail...

You are not alone! I hated it and returned it to Sephora after a few days of trying it. It's awful. Too watery and just DULL. I looked like a corpse:)

Mine has been untouched for mths. It kinda sucks the colour out of me. I got caught up in the hype! In fact I think I even bought a back up - hmm guess what my Mum's being treated to tonight!

It's supposed to be that way. It is designed for HD film, not for daily wear.

Is your skin on the dry or oily side? All the reviews I have read recommend it for those who have oilier skin. I really want to try the mufe hd but I'm doing pretty well with my current foundation and don't want to risk it.

I love this foundation! Although maybe because I am a MUA and can work it? I find with this you will need a bit of slip to get a good finish, so primer is essential if you have dry skin. Then it's a matter of using tiny quantities and really spread them out. Being an HD foundation it's trying to emulate "normal" skin, which isn't shiny or dewy - it can't be either or the camera will pick it up without a problem and will look completely unnatural.

I agree! I also found the same with MUFE's Microfinish powder... sucked the life out of my face and left me looking like a ghost!

Maybe the colour was not right. and I must admit the texture is really tricky to get. You have to try a few way to put it. I like to put little and work it really quickly with a foundation brush. It took me a while to like it as well.

I agree and disagree with you BBB! I think it can look really obvious on and make skin look really flat in 'real life', but like Laura I use it for work and it is incredible photographs/on film, maing imperfect skin flawless!

The first time I used it on a shoot I thought it was going to be rubbish because I could see it on the skin and it looked dry (unlike MUFE F&B), but the model's skin looked amazing in the shots!
