I love the eye look you did, it looks great! I love the combination of grey and purple, very sultry.
Putting makeup on other people really is terrifying. I went along to help Oxford Jasmine at a local event and she made me do it! The makeup artists make it look easy but it's actually immensely stressful being up that close to someone's face and hoping you're not going to make them look like Coco the Clown! One of the girls looked like she might punch me if the results hadn't been to her taste. Fortunately I made my exit before she found a mirror......
Brilliant post! I agree re aspirations. A few years ago I decided that I was going to train up in make up artistry. I had grand plans of actually having skill I could use after all my degree was in journalism, arts and documentary making - so mua seemed a perfectly good idea. That was of course until I decided I may as well combine it with basic hairdressing and ended up cutting ALL my dads hair off (and for his age he had a lot of hair and went to what one can only describe as a “skinhead”) and sent my best friend out on a night out looking more like a drunk Barbie doll than the flawless look I’d hoped for. In essence I realised the only person I could put make up on was me and that dream ended pretty sharpish!
So...you make a living off reviewing beauty products but don't know how to use them? Oh well. I used to sell books for a living, I'd rather sleep than read, that's for sure lol

I would have poked her eye out for sure! You did a great job. Do you know if there are a few colours or just the red

OMG, 'Guess Who'! Love that reference. Ahhh, she doesn't look too bad, mine would have been far worse...

I'm big fan of Revlon products. Can't wait Just Bitten Lipstain. Hopefully they launch it on time.
