This has to be one of your best reviews, really informative and factual. I hardly ever use serum, so I wouldn't pay this amount (well, not at this stage in my life) but if I ever get rich... ;)

I ordered the sample after reading your first post, I never ever believe that beauty products can make an actual difference but this serum somehow convinced me, their website is informative and your post sounded interesting.

As this comes in such a small bottle I decided to only use it on my black circles and on some areas that I have faint acne scars (I say scars but actually it's more like redness, not actual indented scars, so not a serious condition) and sadly I haven't noticed any improvement at all. I have been using it religiously every day and have been following the instructions. Their FAQ page specifically mention that customers have used it on black circles and have seen great results, and I think (not sure about this though) that whatever product will reduce fine lines will also work for acne scars.

However somehow I've still not completely given up on this, I'm going to finish up the sample and see how it goes.. It's the sciency bits that make me think this could really make a difference.

Just though I'd leave this comment here as I think you & other readers could find another review interesting.

I just wrote a review on this myself, and I completely agree with you. I love this product, and think it might be the best serum I've ever used. Pity about the price.

Just read your post about BIOEffect, I haven't used it myself but had a similarly enlightening moment recently with Prai 24k Golden Caviar Age Defying Concentrate. From the start it had a positive effect on my skin - it was really smooth to apply, made my skin feel very soft and I'm sure, has made my skin look 'younger' in that it feels and looks better.

I just wondered if you had used it and what you thought of it? (I'm not a PR by the way, I'm a journo with a fledgling blog at 40schic.blogspot.com and I'm genuinely impressed with this product).

I used it as well but didn't notice any improvements whatsoever :(

I sent off for one of the samples and really liked it - it was so easy at night only having one thing to do all the work. I would have bought some, even though I didn't really see any good effects, until I saw the price and then I just couldn't justify it.

I'm currently similarly enthusiastic about that Clinique Laser serum (can't remember the full name) and that is considerably cheaper.

I've been using La Mer for years, and have not at any point in time deviated from using it.
It wasn't until one of my friends mentioned that I should really just give this magical serum a go for a week. Luckily my friend had an extra sample. So didn't need to purchase.
Already after using it just one evening my skin felt softer than it's ever done before! I couldn't stop thinking how would my skin look after month :) I've now bought a full size bottle and trying it for 6 weeks. On my first week, and my skin just looks SO healthy. Had really not thought I would be swapping my La mer out with this small, rather discreet little bottle of joy.

I too was lucky enough to sample this - thanks to you, BBB! I loved the feeling of it; smooth and really easily absorbed, without the slightly tacky feeling you get with Genefique, for example. I also loved that it works as an eye serum. My skin was definitely smoother and 'plumper', but using this made me realise that what I really need is something to combat my uneven skin tone issues, not wrinkles. Price is also a factor. Holy Grail product it is not - for me anyway. But, if this were the same price as the aforementioned Genefique, or thereabouts, I would definitely repurchase as a weapon in my anti-ageing arsenal! But at the current pricetag it's out of my league.

I got a sample of it and find it good but not so good as to pay that much for it, I got an email offer to get 30 pounds off the 15ml size but I am not going to pay full price going forwards and still find like most other women posting here, in this day and age with times being tough and money being less freed up that you can't justify spending that much money on yourself, so I am not even going there with the offer as I know I can't afford to keep buying it going forwards...pay heed Bio effects...lower your prices if you can, or you'll miss out on customers, a god 25% off at least is needed. Nice stuff though.
