They wouldn't let me try a sample because I straighten my hair :s but what I gathered from going through, you get s dye which lightens your natural shade. Interesting!
I have never dyed my hair and have a growing number of greys appearing, so thought I would have a look. Anyway they recommended rather an alarming shade of red... so will leave for a while I think!
Oh that's interesting, I said I'd had a bleach/highlights "longer ago" and they said I was fine. If I'm not comfortable when it arrives I'll pass it on to someone more suitable. If it excluded you permenantly then I guess they'd remove a large part of their market!
I just tried my sample. I'm quite nervous using home hair dye kits, due to a previous bad experience, but this one was great. I chose my original hair colour and they sent me one they think I should have and the result is brilliant.

I love Garnier hair colour - I use Belle Color and it genuinely makes my hair feel softer and healthier after using it
