Although these palettes are no doubt rather lovely, and any contribution to this cause is better than nothing, 5 % does seem a bit paltry when you compare it to Mac's 100% of Viva Glam to Aids charities . I would be much more inclined to splurge on such an expensive palette if the charity benefitted more.

It is beautiful.. but super expensive. 5% really isnt a lot either, it's like, could it be much less?! Id actually consider the splurge of purchasing it if more was donated. I love the fact you get a watercolour of the elephant too and the orphan profile though, its all so sweet x

This looks amazing! Although for £74 I'd never want to use it! x

I have a couple of their palettes including the wonderful turtle one, which I love. Not sure about the colours on this one... is that pink a blush? Agree with some of the others that 5% does seem a bit mean, but this is the only eyeshadow I wear as I am allergic to everything else, so I may take the plunge in September.

If it's 5% of proceeds then that will be a good chunk of profit. MAC don't donate 100% of proceeds....they donate 100% of profit of those select products. That will probably equal 5-8% of proceeds. Lovely palette. I want one!
