oh I'd have loved this. I remember readng about Angel in a magazine before it was released in the UK and I traipsed from shop to shop, here, cardiff and birmingham to find it. But no one had heard of it... I became obsessed with getting it. I think I must have been one of the first people to own it, such was my dedication to getting this stuff and I loved it as much as I though I would.
People who hate it seem to like it on me, for some reason, I guess it just works with my skin chemistry well.
I have to admit a few years ago I stopped wearing it altogether for about three years because I could smell it on everyone everywhere I went but I think its a little more obscure again now.
My fave though was the Angel with violet. gorgeous!
Hahaha I love the honesty of your review!!! I LOVE Womanity though, - my new go-to summer scent, but my friend tried it & it didn't suit her at all - it's amazing how different scents smell on different people!
That event looks amazing! Food + perfume = heaven!!
Innovative way of introducing the fragrance to someone. It's like involving them in the process. Clever.
And although I know both sell well, I'm NOT a fan of Mugler's fragrances. Womanity isn't awful (though the bottle is a bit goth-Metal. Not sure what they were thinking with that), like Alien and Angel, but I wouldn't wear it either. Mind you, Chanel has spoilt me for anything else. I'm a No 5 gal or nothing.
I wore Angel all throughout the mid 90s and early 00s. It was sort of exclusive then and it had to be purchased at Sak's here in the USA. My family hated te smell of it and I did at first too but it grew on me. It can be obnoxious but I think it smells better in colder climates. I got a free sample of Womanity in a UK Glamour around January of this year and I liked it. It was extremely sweet smelling. I think I'll ask my husband for a bottle of Angel for my birthday this year. I still really like it.
I'm not a lover of the Thierry Mugler fragrances, but they smell amazing on some people who come into the shop. I love the bottle for womanity but was so sad when I had a sniff and it made me urge. :(
I hate womanity and angel, but I had a friend who wore Alien and I adored it so much I ended up with Alien sunessence, the orange bottle kind. I've never smelled an Alien I didn't like.
I used to wear Alien when I was at uni. I loved how unusual and different it was. Then my friend asked me if I'd been eating pickled onions because I smelt strange. Last time I ever wore that fragrance!! I doubt pickled onion was one of the foodie scents they were trying to convey....
I love Alien but I couldn't wear it as it's way too heavy for me. I didn't think I've ever smelt Angel?! I probably have unknowingly on other people but a chocolate scented perfume really doesn't appeal.
I'd love to go to a Mugler event in the future. As a new blogger I don't know which PR's to contact about these events and ho hum they'd probably say my blog's not well established enough. If you have any freebies you don't want, please send them my way I would love them :)
I'd have loved to go to this. How do you know who to contact the PR's? They'd probably consider my blog too smal :( If you have any freebies I'd love anything sent my way. I adore Alien and Angel but I haven't smelt Womanity yet.

i LOVE Thierry Mugler- i'll have your freebies! ;-)
As a self confessed glutton and beauty lover i'm actually excited to smell these!
Angel gives me a migraine, I do love the notes of chocolate that come from the fragrance but just can't wear it!

I detest Angel, and Alien...and Womanity made me want to chop my nose off.. :/
Which is a shame because I love the idea and concept of them. And I adore the bottles, I just can't abide the smells.
xx
Same as Charlie, hated Angel on other people, but smells great on me for whatever reason. Sounds like an interesting event though.

I really admire TM fragrances from an innovative & creative point of view, even if they aren't to everyone's tastes. I like Womanity!
