I will definitely sniff this when it's available, I love Shalimar, so hope I will love this too. :)

The price is good, especially when you consider how extortionate Iris Absolute, which the oil comes from, costs the perfumery.

Looking forward to trying this one.

I saw the Perfume programme last night and was quite interested when he said he was bringing out a lighter version, Id like to be able to wear the original but it's to heady and affects my asthma. Hopefully this will be better :D

I ADORE Shalimar. Did you watch the Perfume programme on BBC4 last night?

I'm curious to sniff this but it is at least the 4th attempt at a 'light' Shalimar - there have already been 'light', 'legere', 'eau de shalimar' in the past decade not to mention subtle reformulations of the original so I wonder quite what makes this one the one that will stick.

It's a beautiful ultra-modern-ultra-classic and so perfect in its array of notes and pinky powder subtle theatricity! A new iconic perfume.
