I got a Frontcover polish box set for Christmas last year and I love it! Would definitely recommend them and would buy again :)

I have seen the Frontcover boxes at Sephora and they looked really nice, but I'd never heard of the brand before. It's nice to know they are as good as they sound :D

Completely agree with you there, my only reason for preferring the Superdrug version is it's BUAV Approved but I am very protective of businesses struggling against the corporate tide, will certainly do my best to give them due custom. xx

I must have at least 8 FrontCover sets.
Their eyeshadow palettes usually have an amazing range of shades and they're all so beautifully pigmented!

I think my absolute favourite box that they released has to be "Rainbow eyes" for winter 08/09.

There's a beautiful shimmery green in it called Wild Lime that Looks amazing in the inner eye for a bright blue/green look!
I must buy more from them; would be so sad if they disappeared!

I have not tried Frontcover yet, but from the looks of it, it sounds like it's a great product, so I'm thinking of giving it a shot. Great blog btw.

Just because something is made to look the same or similar, doesn't mean the quality inside is the same. I know that FrontCover strive to produce the best possible products - blind testing against Chanel for example and only ever using the actual product for the photo shoots that appear on the boxes. some how I don't think the copies go to that extent with the bit that really matters - the product.

Excited to see where things are going for them this year! x

I have had their Rainbow Eyes palette for about a year now and it's definitely one of the best palettes I own. Well worth the money! :)

Not a fan at all. Their shadows are powdery and always overly shimmery.

I've got three Frontcover kits, and while I don't find them very portable, I like the products inside and quite often buy them to give as gifts.
Totally agree with you about the big boys vs the smaller ones....I know where I'll be putting my money!
Thanks for another insightful post.

I have the rainbow eyes pallet and I love it! The blue shades especially. And I love their eyeliner thing that turns shadows into eyeliner.

I just bought the Baked Powder collection online as they now ship to Australia! *happy dance*
They colours are often very unusual and it's nice to have something different to the same old greens, greys etc. Good value too.

I hadn't realised that Boots had dropped them, what a shame...

@Therese - I believe the exclusive tie in contract with Boots was up, so it may be more of an onwards and upwards move on FrontCover's part. Hence now they are able to sell directly to you in Australia! :) x
