Dear BBB,

I think the people at VA should send you the lipstick and the gift tag should be a First Class ticket for your next flight with them....

You've given them free PR by telling us all about the lipstick so you've earned your seat right???

I hope you get to First Class ~ be sure to take a picture of you at the bar on board and post it so we can all see. Fingers and toes crossed...

If that's what the colour looks like on, that's beautiful. I love a pinky-red.

And sorry, I haven't got the answer to getting upgraded either. My SIL managed it once on an Air Canada flight, but she did work them at the time.

My husband and I didn't get upgraded by Virgin on our honeymoon, so I'm a bit pissed at them. Not to mention their crappy plane from the 90's.

I think the biggest key to getting upgraded is the rewards scheme. I'm almost a silver member with Emirates so I think I'll have a better chance of getting upgraded then!

Why are you do obsessed with getting an
Upgrade?! I've been flying for 30+ years and only ever been upgraded once! That's cos my Sid works for them.

I'm planning on a trip to the US next year and I'm already doing my research onto how to get a free upgrade. A little white lie about proposing to my boyfriend got me an upgrade to a suite on our last holiday, so I'm hoping that was my training ground!

Stupid thingy wouldn't let me change or add to my comment! Anyway, it's definitely not a right! X

It happened to me once on BA (to Hong Kong so totally worth it on a 13 hour flight - bliss). I was a Clubcard holder but I think the things that made the difference were that I was a solo traveller and had paid for Premium Economy rather than the cheapest ticket going in economy and that I had previously flown full fare business class for work with BA on a number of occasions.

That is a gorgeous colour anyhow and I hope it becomes widely available.

Best way to get an upgrade without paying for it is using your frequent flyer miles.
I did get an upgrade once when I walked on board in tears into a crowded flight. But my grandpa had just died so I wouldn't recommend it.

That is a beautiful shade of red. I too hope that it becomes more widely available before long.

I must be incredibly lucky as I have been upgraded twice with VA - first of all en-route to NY up to Business, then First Class on the way back. I didn't ask for it, but I do think the check in girl thought I was 'someone' as she kept looking at me like I had a TV on my head, as did the crew in First. Enjoyed a nice mani/pedi on the way back and all the lush cowshed products.. Amazing!

Your sense of entitlement knows no bounds. Stop blagging/blogging/begging freebies & being sour when they don't come to you. Sour! Eww. Have dignity girl & pay for what you want. Companies & prs are not your parents or husband.
