Ah his sister is on old Makeup Alley friend of mine from about 10 years ago. She's been well into the online makeup world for a long time, so I'm surprised he's not.

Lovely looking stuff though, and he does have a kind of magic going through those pots of loveliness!

It's alright Jane! Hope I wasn't too mean... Like I said, you've just got to try these things, no rules, have a laugh and make the colours your own. I think you'd look great with the deeper shades like Patina and Caviar.
Cheers!

Color theory is a science in itself!

I am very taken with the purple cream shadow in the current range, in spite of not being a fan of cream shadows, I think I want to own it purely because of its beauty.

I would also like to say, as a blog reader, that I think blogs do more to create the "need" for something as unnecessary as make up than any other media and this effect is only enhanced by the fact that often the reveal is well in advance of the launch. I can't tell you the times your blog, and others, have made me fall in love with a product, google it to seek out other reviews, google image it to see who has the best photos, read comparison posts with other products, my desire to own the product heightened by each post I read, until by the time the product is launched I am racing down the road with my £££ clutched in my sweaty little fist desperate to own it. Underestimate the power of a blog post at your peril, I reckon!

Shisedo has been around for a long, long time. I remember my mother taking me to the fancy department store as a kid and buying their perfume. When I became a teen, I bought their nail lacquer. They've come a long way. Enjoyed this post.
