I'm quite taken by the idea of a tea perfume. After all, we scent ourselves with all sorts of other edible things like vanilla, ginger and chocolate.

A tad bizarre.

Tea is hardly a new note in perfumery (Elizabeth Arden Green Tea anyone?), but this looks like jumping on the band wagon of the Jo Malone entire collection of tea-themed fragrances!

I do like the idea of tea scents, but not the way Tetley have done it.

I cant help thinking there is an office full of people looking at one another in horror behind the back of the genius who has come up with this plan. Either that or they missed April 1st and thought "what the hell" and put it out there anyway!

I heard about this on Classic FM on the way to work (believe me there is nothing so great as tackling the motorway to The Ride of the Valkyries) and couldn't quite fathom it really. I think that Tommy Girl has a whiff of the leaves about it, but although I am a 20 a day girl I cannot abide tea in a scent, it turns my stomach. I can't even see this as ironic, just bad. Thankyou for confirming what I thought this morning - one to avoid. Jan x

Aww it looks well sweet :) probably won't be purchasing as I'm more of a fruity/floraly perfume wearer.

Much love,

I myself am from Doncaster and can verify Tina has indeed travelled through town on her way up north... whether she made it to the highlands... we'll never know but her scent was intoxicating.. definitely worth a look :p x

How did I even miss this post? And think I was annoyed I couldn't get one of the Jo Malone Tea blends... I bet this is stockpiled somewhere!
