I'm so pleased that you have flagged this up - I've been using Micellar Water as a cleanser for two years and I would never use anything else (as a beauty journalist, cleanser is one thing I can't keep switching as my skin is sensitive and also 'problematic'). I have been using Caudalie's now for a few weeks and it is one of my favourites.
I love Micellar Water as it's gentle (no redness after cleansing), it keeps blemishes at bay (very rarely get them now), it leaves skin feeling supple and hydrated, and there's no need for separate eye makeup remover as it can be used on eyes (and I have tested it on the blackest of black mascara!)
My only problem with the product is that it only seems to be the luxe French brands that make it - and the cheapest I have found is £10. For essentially water, mixed with a few essential oils, I would really love it if a few of the budget brands could start making it as I do get through it quite quickly. Or maybe a recipe so I could make my own :-)
It's really difficult to explain what a micelle is but I know what it looks like as I've seen the droplets under magnification. Not that that is any use to anyone!
This sounds lovely, I often considered getting the Bioderma version. Will have to give it a try sometime. Jane x
I really love this cleansing water too. I've been looking for one that is more budget friendly but nothing has compared to the Caudalie. So glad it's getting a good review and exposure. It's a great product.
This sounds interesting , id not heard of it before, i can't believe i wasn't following before now. I read your blog regularly but somehow had forgot to follow before xx
