I've been subjected to these people before. I managed to avoid them on my way in but foolishly forgot they were there as I was leaving and they caught me! I'm terrible at saying no and walking off so the girl did her whole sales pitch before I managed to think of a feeble excuse and leave.

I'll have to hold my hand up and shamefully admit that I succumbed and made a purchase! - I paid £15 and came away with the survival kit, a 12-piece mini lip gloss set, a pocket palette (this has 4 cream eye shadows and 2 lip glosses), a book of beauty tips (never read) and finally a shimmer powder brush!

In my defence it was the night Westfield was opened and I had a little extra spending money in my pocket! To be fair, I've not used any of it yet, so I couldn't tell you if it’s any good or bad, but it seems lovely, and my friend who bought one also, seems to love it!

I bought some of this khack about 4 years ago but it was a girl i worked with who sold it to me. She told me it was the same people who made bobbi brown!!! Needless to say I have never touched the stuff apart from a couple of swatches, lucky i only paid a tenner for it!! x

Just visited WHSmiths at Chancery Lane, London. Was leapt upon by two young men, dressed in ill fitting suits, complete with dodgy spiky footballer hair, trying to get me to buy the VJ products.
Err I ran and hid behind Heat magazine ….

they were at the Trowel services on the M1 yesterday. They offered me $250 worth of make up for my wife and daughter for £30. When I walked away they said they were open to offers! I told her I'd driven 200miles and was desperate for a poo. Managed to get back out to the car OK though.

If it seems too good to be true then it usually is. As a bloke, I am no make up expert whatsoever but it looked like cheap tat to me. Stay away.

OMG! I just bought them an hour ago. there's a girl came into my office and offer a discount set of survival kit and lip balms for 998 Thai baht (30 or 31 USD).

The stories she told about the product is the same as in the article.

and I and 2 others bought them because my colleague said she saw them in Cleo (Thailand edition).

we were conned, weren't we?

We are all probably old and wise enough to know better (probably!) but I seriously object to my 11 year old daughter and her friends being pressured into this scam sale.
£15 each and they got a pile of 'free stuff' - outrageous!
