Think the smell would get to me, a bit sweet. I always fall for pretty packaging though. I bought the sweetest box of hand creams by Lollia, very flowery and retro but product is slimey and not good at all.
No Paris but New York. Off to the Big Apple very shortly - any bargins, brands you would reccommend?
OOh you are spoilt for choice then re NY. Edward Bess lipglosses at Bergdorf Goodman, Ojon Haircare at Sephora, Go Smile tooth whitening at Sephora, Arm & Hammer whitening toothpaste with peroxide (not allowed here) at any drug store. Any of Anna Sui gorgeous make up (including black lipgloss rings shaped like roses) at the AS store; you'll also find all sorts of ranges that are much more extensive than here - Sally Hansen for example. Drugstores have a brand called Physician's Formula that do some beautiful looking make up. Duane Reed drugstores are like Starbucks; there's one on every corner.....also stock up on antibiotic cream - very handy if you have kids.
