In anticipation of warmer weather. Suncreen, over or under other skin care products? I get different advice from different places. No, I don't use it all year round, it just doesn't make sense to me when it's snowing.

Jo Malone does a fabulous little product - a liquid SPF that you can add in to moisturiser or foundation. Plus mineral foundations have a built in SPF so you wouldn't need anything else unless you are actually sunbathing. General rule though is to use SPF15 or above every day - (if you are actually building a snowman in a snowstorm you can break this rule!). Really it will pay dividends in the long run even if seems ridiculous right now. I wouldn't slap on SPF50 or anything - in fact, there is evidence (Sisley is a supporter of this) that some sun is actually helpful to skin. Easiest way to do it is to buy moisturiser, foundation, tinted moisturiser (such as Laura Mercier) that actually contains SPF in the first place. Then it's just a no fuss way to incorporate sensible SPF levels into everyday beauty.
