I feel the exact same way about olives; I desperately want to like them as they seem like the perfect, healthy snack, but it just isn't happening.

Interesting review on this BB Cream; I'll definitely pick up a sample as it doesn't sound like it's followed the normal BB Cream check list and as I think I have the skin type that it's aimed at, hopefully it'll be a good fit for me xx

I'm really looking forward to trying this, I hope I don't turn grey!

This sounds like it might be for me, all the BB creams I have tried so far have made me an oily mess. Will be picking up a sample. Thanks for your review, it is a shame you didn't get on with it. x

Umm. at £30 or whatever this retails for, I just cannot take the risk. no way. happy to buy a korean one at £12p&p and wait a month for it to arrive, and other bb creams at £15 top but this is too expensive a risk to take. You might have saved me lots of money here. I could like it too, but do I really want to love a bb cream which costs £30 a pop, naaaaaah :) x

THANK YOU!!! I tried this BB cream and felt the EXACT SAME WAY! But then all the reviews I found were glowing with praise about how weightless and natural it was, so I thought I was just going crazy.

Love olives, hated the Clinique B B cream for same reason you did.

Lol! I've got shade 1 and I really love it. It's great for humid climates.

Thanks for mentioning my opinion BBB - I guess it proves that makeup is such a personal thing. I am guessing that part of my love for this product is the matte finish (I hate glow) and colour (I am very pale). I don't find it at all heavy or greasy to wear, but that is again such a personal thing. I think the best step forward is to request sample or test at a counter before parting with cash - hopefully Clinique will be forthcoming with this.

I have oily, spot-prone skin, and tried it for all the reasons you mentioned - long lasting, matte etc. I thought the colour and coverage were great for pale skin (although it does take some blending), but I also found it made my spots way, way worse, so I just stopped using it after a few days.

That is really too bad. It's funny that when this BB cream came out in Singapore, it was marketed as everyone can wear this BB cream, no matter what skin tone you are, so my impression was this was more of a BB primer but when I got it, it applied much thicker than I expected. I still like it and my skin tone fortunately fits the shade of this BB cream but I used much better BB creams to be honest...

I wonder if Clinique have lost their way a bit recently. Chanel, Clarins and Lauder all have "creative directors" who can produce a range of must buys. It's been along time since Clinique did this.

As a bloke (well I use the term bloke rather loosely), I thought this product was great! As a Clinique Consultant myself, I've been excited by the prospect of this launch for a while. I've posted a review about this on my site but it's geared more towards men and I discuss the treatment benefits.

As always, love the site and love your posts!
