QVC has one for sale from smashbox in its last clicks clearence section if anyone is interested. Comes with two other things however the few reviews it has ain't all that great.
I use a fan brush too for applying mascara. Sometimes the crappiest mascaras apply so nicely. I bought one at an art supply store for $3. But this one is definitely a nice one!

They are easier to find in artists'shops than in make-up stores I'm afraid! I love them, too!
Great tip, thanks for posting. Would LOVE to try! Now I need to get the brush as I don't have one...
That's a great tip re: lining under the lashes.
I've found that this works better with mascara when I use it on others rather than on myself.

I have this one from Crown in my kit and it is only £2.35.
It's brilliant for the things you've outlined and I also use to whisk powder away from the under eye area after I've set a client's concealer.
I find it allows a delicate yet precise application of highlighter along the cheekbones and the cupid's bow, too.
