I LOVE this. My nails used to split beyond about 1mm of tip growth but if I use formula 2 religiously for no more than a couple of weeks, they grow and are very hard, and look fake. Don't know how it works either but it is miraculous stuff!
I just had to repurchase the formula 2 plus, because the results are just remarkable. There was a noticeable difference within 4-6 weeks, but it's been 4-5 months now and my super bendy, peely nails are so thick they look like acrylics! I, too have wondered how it works, but realized I don't care either. This is truly a Holy Grail product!
I wish this worked for me (if my nails start to peel I end up swapping to a hydrating base coat)! Often if your nails are peeling they aren't getting enough moisture. Make sure you wash your hands immediately after removing your polish (soap is basic to kill the acid of polish remover) and use nail oil religiously!
