Am I being dense, but surely to "mimick a makeup artists application", you could just use a normal mascara and apply it in the same way rather than using a spinning one?...
BBB - I bet you have it in your bags of samples! I blogged about it a week or so ago and and pretty much wondered exactly the same as you, and then found it in with my dior christmas look samples - either it was sent as a mistake then or intentionally, I'm not sure. Not actually tried it yet but intend to give it a whirl - badoomtssch - tonight.
I bought it the other day...It looks really interesting and works, in a way, differently then other vibrating mascaras, but does noting special to my lashes...And I have long, thick and curved eyelashes...I ll stick to DiorShow Blackout - best mascara ever!

I have never tried a vibrating mascara lol, sounds a bit far fetched but I would be willing to buy it when its available, you never know.
