nooooooo!!! they give me the heebie jeebies!! there's a magazine out there with lady gaga on the front with those shaped nails and it freaks me out for some reason!!LovelyGirlieBits
I think I just don't quite understand when you'd use them... £35 is a heck of a lot to spend on something you'd maybe use once at fancy dress and then loose...
Imagine you forget you're wearing them and your eye starts itching *shudders* They reminded me of Fon Leb, a traditional Thai dance with long brass nails.
I think they are fantastic! I've ordered three sets, one to wear and one to keep as a collectors item. I think they will be like Chanel tattoos and just increase in worth. Investing in ART so to speak :-)
I love Illamasqua, but I understand everyone doesn't 'get' them. Kudos to them for pushing the boundaries. Love it or hate it. At least its interesting!!!!
Have just received them and they actually look quite cheap (to me), made from some sort of plastic, finish is poor (you'd need to use a nail file to smooth the tips' edge but not sure that would not damage the "silver" part)... The presentation box is great but that's just about it...

I can't help thinking that I actually saw someone wearing them, I'd have to conclude "awful"...

I hate them, tacky and overpriced. Bleurgh! x
They remind me of Lestat in Interview With The Vampire. He had some metal nail/knife action going on @ his thumbs ...
I totaly agree with Karen. Good for your 'alter ego'. Alas I have no such thing and will happily live my life without these creepy things on my nails.
I'm pretty sure I've seen similar concepts in just about every bad sci fi movie I've ever had to watch.
Probably the only one who can pull these off is Lady Gaga.
They are awful and I have pretty broad tastes when it comes to nails.

This is the only thing Illamasqua have done where I'm not remotely tempted. Just no!

£35 is a lot for nails, but those are beautiful x

I think they are great. Especially for an all black outfit this party season. Team them with a seriously smoked eye and blood red lips!

I really quite like them myself!
I take it things with yourself and illamasqua are ok now? Didn't think I'd see another post about them after "the last post"!
hmmmm - a bit Edward Scissorhands
Boggin.
