The "I need all this Award" goes to this post!

I buy Bioderma for good prices and free shipping at Cosme.de: http://www.cosme-de.com/en/brand/brand_page.html?bpid=b00000015

I want so much the Shu Uemura Stage Performer, but it' so hard to find! I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and I can't find a store that ships here (same thing with Max Factor, unfortunatelly). Can you give me a little help by telling if you know the NARS Brightening Serum or the Peter Thomas Roth Illuminating High Definition Moisturizer, and if they are similar to the Shu Uemura you mentioned? (These two I can find online). I'd be very thankful.

As for "can't live without" recommendations, let me think about it. I'll come back later with at least one, if I can :D

Yes, I have a recommendation. In case you need high protection from sun, Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen SPF 50+ PA+++ is very effective and not greasy as many high spf products are - and not over priced at all. And it works, it keeps my skin protected when I treat my dark spots. I lasts a lot on the skin.

And the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel kit is awesome. Try a sample if you can.

Great post, thanks for sharing! I agree about several products: JW Candles, Bourjois pencil, Max Factor foundation and Illamasqua Kabuki, love those myself.

I am interested in Shu Uemura Stage Performer Instant Glow (really want to try this out now)
and Benefit Porefessional(not for myself, I don't have ploblems with pores).

If I could recommend only one product, that would be Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Peal. It gives this amazing healthy glow which is not shiny or glittery at all. The best Highlighter EVER!

I love your awards, glass of bubbly in hand - lots of fabulous new products to try and one I use too! I love Lierac, I found it in a fabulous pharmacy in Barnes and it has been the only brand I have told friends about.

Some great recommendations - thank you. I tried Lierac in a local pharmacy and loved it. Because I hadn't seen it recommended anywhere I didn't buy it. I shall go back and get some now.

Feel like getting out my credit card and ordering a bunch of stuff now. Must hold myself back - but you've given me some great ideas.

Well that's answered the 'what concealer shall i try next' question. If only a delivery of Dior Skin Nude Concealer could appear as if by Harry Potter Magic on a sunday morning....

This is a truely great post! Much needed and long overdue.
Huge thanks for putting this together.

BTW, Thanks for the Champers and canapes, don't mind if I do!

Fantastic post, feeling slightly tipsy on your lovely champers!! Thank you for providing my latest 'must try' list! I'm also in love with the Aromatherapy Associates bath oil; it revives the soul like nothing else! I'm really curious about the Bioderma cleanser, have seen that Lisa Eldridge uses it too. Do you use it solely as a makeup remover and then cleanse the skin underneath or do you find it's enough to use on it's own?

Thanks for the award BBB, we are celebrating with a nice glass of virtual champagne (well, it's 10am on a Monday morning in the office so we haven't got much choice anyway)!

What a lovely post! It's so nice to see awards given to products for actually working rather than for their stake in advertising, general popularity, etc...

There are some brands I didn't recognise but I look forward to researching them and discovering new products!! xx

Fantastic list of products. I'm going to try the bath oil and Lancome hand cream straight away and I'd been swithering as to whether or not the Pantene was a worth trying so I'll certainly give it a go. I'm really enjoying reading your blog.

I need to try some of this Bioderma that everyone keeps raving about. Thanks Renata for the link - do they do free shipping to the UK?

It will kill mon portefeuille but thanks for all the recommendations especially day and night creams, concealer, hair oil and perfumes.

I only just came across your awards, thanks for the tips - maybe adding prices and links to where they can be bought would help too. Thanks again. Do you have the best place for buying Bioderma?

I hate to rain on the glamour parade, but I feel I would be remiss if I didn't mention this:

Some of the products you recommend are made in Japan.

Japan has suffered 3 nuclear plant meltdowns and the radiation from the meltdowns has been found in different areas of Japan...and in tea leaves, cows, vegetables, air, water, etc.

Therefore, I would check where the factory is that's making beauty products, and doublecheck that they are safe.

It's such a sad situation, and there has pretty much been a blackout in the mainstream media regarding Japan's nuclear meltdowns, but it's a factual situation that we can't close our eyes to.

Everyone has a right to know the truth so that you can make intelligent decisions based upon facts.

Also, the radiation from Japan has been found in the United States by the Environmental Protection Agency.

Jeff McMahon of Forbes magazine has written some easy-to-understand articles on the subject which I recommend highly. Here are a few:

Thank you for your tips

Here is a mascara - Masterpiece Max (Black/Black-Brown or a very good navyish Blue). Use it on its own - the brush is superb - or for even more va va voom try an eyelash primer underneath (then apply mascara wet over the top). Estee Lauder do a good one

Speaking of Estee Lauder as a day or Night Serum their brown bottled Advanced Night Repair is a 30 year success story. I've used it for 15 years and that is about how wrong people get my age!

Finally, the best handcream I've ever tried is by Mary Cohr (same family of companies as Guinot).. If you find a beautician that sells it have a lifting facial they are AMAZING
