I got a sample of this through the post a few weeks ago and I still haven't got round to trying it out I'll be trying it in the next few days after this review! Thanks
I've been using lots of Max Factor foundations in my makeovers lately - currently Seamless in Porcelain is a favourite - and I'm always pleasantly surprised.
I'va had my eye on the Nars Sheer Glow foundation but I'm going to give this one a go in the wait for payday, it sounds really impressive for a cheaper price.
I've tried the sample for this. It gives great long-lasting coverage. Unfortunately the shades available are a tad too pinky for me. Would Max Factor do a light yellow based shade for pale skin?
I'm on board with this foundation too. Max Factor has an impressive history with this type of product and Second Skin continues that tradition. I love how my own skin looked luminous, but not shiny, and little imperfections were covered. My face had a lovely velvety feel as well.
The sample was generous too, which is a nice plus. I like to be able to get more than one try out of a sample before I make a buy/don't buy decision.
I have been eyeing this foundation for a while now, is it similar to Bobbi Browns' Skin foundation, as they sound almost exactly the same. The Bobbi Brown one is amazing (but triple the price!). Lxx
This product feels great, but like most brands, lacks a shade light enough for my skin tone. Even the palest opition contains too much pink to blend in seamlessly.
I wandered into Boot's to check this out, and unfortunately and typically they don't seem to have any shades for darker skin tones like mine. Pity! it sounded quite good. xx
This foundation made me break out worse than I have before & Im 22 so im not prone to that anymore. Nasty! Looks beautiful on but not worth ruining good skin for

This sounds fab! Neeeeed to try it! I am a foundie junkie - wonder if they make a pale enough one for me? There you are Max Factor - a challenge!

Bought it last week, tried it this morning - and now I'm hooked! Great finish and lovely texture. Impressed with Max Factor once again!
