The shadows look beautiful. Totally colours that can be used in every day eye looks. And the blush is cute too. x

I'm so glad you said that about the campaign as when the first whisperings about it occurred and everyone was saying how great it is, my thoughts were "but they're still models!!" So how is that an accurate representation of 'real beauty' when they're making their selection only from the most beautiful?! Range looks fab though; wonder if they'll solidify their foundations soon too xx

I just read about this campaign and thought it sounded really nice, but oh my god, I did not know they only used models and actresses, that's horrendous!! But yes, I've heard so much from the US about how wonderful this range is, I might have to splurge. xx

This whole model for beauty campaigns is a nonsense! Dove famously didn't (one of the girls was a bridesmaid at a wedding I did) and macleans are currently running a non-model campaign (an old school friend is in the adverts).

Having said that, nice to see some pressed minerals for a change!

Bare Minerals are the only minerals that work for me too.
They never leave your skin looking dry, they disguise pores so well...it totally justifies the price.
I would love love love to see these new compacts in Italy as well

one of the many reasons I love Dr.Hauschka is that they use Hauschka users on their publicity. The women may work in their offices, or be someones girlfriend, or will have applied personally and they are all natural beauties. They sometimes use women 'off the street' who are in their 40's and 50's. Shock horror! We 'ordinary' women are beautiful too, doesn't he know?!

I am so glad you had the chance to ask the company about that campaign. I wrote about it a few weeks ago here http://yourbeautyindustry.blogspot.com/2012/01/bare-escentuals-force-of-beauty.html?m=1 and it seems people really are divided in opinion. While I do think it's great they used models with an inspirational story, I think they could have been much braver and used real women - that would have been incredible.

Totally agree.. We want real people, not models or celeb's who have personal trainers, stylists, make up artists, hairdressers.. Do these people never read what their market is, & wants? I'd have more respect for an advertsing campaign using REAL people.. We are wiser, now, no need for already beautiful people..

I have an eye shadow duo, blush, and the pressed powder. All work well, but the powder has a strangely vegetal smell that lingers for a bit.
