To be honest, while it's annoying that they use lash inserts and post production enhancement of the lashes, quite frankly I don't think there's anyone out there who would actually expect their lashes to look like that. We all know it's fake and that is why I don't buy mascara based on the adverts, I buy them based on bloggers' reviews or my own experience. :)

Finally an honest advert! Although I am wondering how many hours it took them to apply the mascara, and now even wondering how many coats it took them to achieve that effect?
It's still a bit fake since she probably didn't apply it herself and I don't have a personal make up artist around to do my mascara in the morning!

I am pleased too, but have long been ignoring the lashes in adverts for mascaras! I much take the word of bloggers anyday over any claims of adverts!

This is probably after all the hassle they received after her having hair extensions or something to make her hair look voluminous and healthy for that shampoo ad!

Its totally fantastic they aren't using lash inserts!
Hopefully more brands will start doing this now!

What i like about the Cheryl Cole is that without using any lash inserts, they have shown the natural result. To be honest is one of the important quality.

the problem is to people like us these false adverts are rubbish but to a lot of women especially young girls they do buy into it, well i definatly did when i was younger xXx

I love the fact that they aren't using any lash inserts!
However, as others have said, I never really take much notice of what adverts 'claim' the mascara's do anyway.

Oh, and when they use someone as beautiful as Cheryl Cole... People are bound to be sucked in regardless of what the lashes actually look like from using the mascara anyway.

I'd love to give this mascara a go though, I have heard some good reviews about it already.

I like it...

Guessing the hat was a clever way to avoid applying 76 coats on both eyes ;)

I actually think she looks much better, now that her lashes aren't so heavy! How does the mascara rate for 'smudge'? I'd like to try it but can't afford yet another mistake, and every one except Estee Lauder smudges on me.
