I am hoping and praying that L'oreal don't decide to do this in the UK as well - Shu are one of my favourite brands!

That just plain sucks. I LOVE Shu Uemura. I never buy YSL, Armani, or Ralph Lauren cosmetics/ fragrances. Mostly because I don't believe in buying cosmetics from a clothing designer brand. Its like buying a Coach watch. Coach makes handbags, I'm not buying a watch from a handbag manufacturer. Brands should stick to the items they do best and Armani makeup isn't an attractive product to me. Oh well, at least there will be Nars.

Ralph Lauren cosmetics?! Pah! Shu is a real brand for real make-up artists. Bad call L'Oreal... x

I hope this doesn't mean that Shu is having problems overall :-(

Wait, so does that mean that there will be no more hair products from Shu as well? I cant live without my frame wax. What will I do? Oh, Im super sad now.

They have thrown in the towel. I think this is the beginning of the end, as the US is the worlds largest market. Shu will soon become a brand only to be found in Asia. So sad. I suspect their customers will migrate the NARS, BECCA, and MAC.

I will not be buying from the US on line store! I used my Visa on my first order and a few days later I received a call from my Visa company to see if I had used my card at a Nordstoms in MD. Coincidently, that is where Shu now ships from. Coincidence?!
