I was really hoping this was going to be a post telling us that Sephora was on its way back to the UK. Alas, no...

You can add Germany to the No-Sephora-list as well. :-( ASAIK Sephora has an agreement with a German chain not to try to enter the German market. Which means: no NARS, no MUFE, no Tarte, no Sephora exclusives.

The French Sephora has Tokidoki and they ship (very expensively) Europ-wide.

Can't you put the thumb screws on someone, Jane. They'd listen to you! x

It really surprised me that they can't at least manage a flagship store in London. Although the one in Bluewater never used to be busy. I think we have so many fragrance discounters I.e Perfume Shop here and because that is the first thing you see in a lot of their stores that people didn't used to venture further. Its a real shame

i do have sephora where i live now (czech republic) but it is nothing compared to the stores in the us, france or even spain.

Here here! The amount of trouble I had to go to, to get the Karl Lagerfeld For Sephora Collection - phew! There's no chance I want to do that again, no matter how cute/pretty this palette is!

Well Stila came back and it's better than ever. We should just keep our fingers crossed! Either that or make Spack NK much better.

I guess the problem with the UK is that it would be difficult for them to enter the market? I know of Sephora from home, beauty junkies know of Sephora from Youtube but other people do they know or care about it? There is a lot on the market already available.
In the meantime we can order from the sephora.fr website, the delivery charge is 15 euros so you'd better make a big order with a few friends.

i agree with anon above. either bring sephora (provided they will have a nice collection of brands we dont have) or make Space NK better. Space NK is really bad on every aspect at the moment - especially the service and those shu uemura stands? they look empty.

I hope Sephora makes it way back to the UK in the future. It really is a great store with so many lovely products.
