Hi BBB, can I ask if you (or anyone else) has found this treatment leaves the hair a little flat and harder to create volume? I had this done about 5 years ago before it got popular by a Brazilian friend who bought the products in Brazil and bought them back with her - judging by the smell I would say it was packed with formaldehyde! I did like the effect but found it left my hair a bit limp, so was wondering if the newer lower formaldehyde ones were any better.
Hi Georgie...yes I was worried about that but I must say there is no 'flatness'. If you hair is flat to start with then I guess it may not build volume.
You're very lucky. The Keratin treatment I had on Tuesday (I'm still trying to find out the brand, the hairdresser didn't use the one I'd asked for), has left my hair crispy, frazzled and frizzy. Not happy. Not happy at all, especially after my last keratin treatment (which I could have washed on the same day if I'd have wanted to) was so amazing.
